Adventure, challenge, & exploration through the lens of a HIOBS Instructor
When a HIOBS instructor also happens to be a photographer, we know they’re going to come back from course with some stellar field images—photos that course cameras just can’t quite capture!
That’s exactly what happened every time Land Instructor Naman Sharma came back from multiple days in the field with students this summer. For over 15 years, Naman has been capturing images that help him feel connected to nature, exploration, storytelling, challenge, and adventure.
We pulled together some of our favorite samples of Naman’s photography from throughout the summer season, which highlight the time he spent on course canoeing and backpacking in the Rangeley Lakes and mountains of western Maine. Whether it was time spent with one of our Leadership courses, a crew from The Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, NY, or a 15-day teen backpacking and canoeing course, Naman was able to capture the everyday experiences that make an Outward Bound expedition so special.
What a wonderful, fun-filled summer we’ve had. Thanks so much to Naman for the awesome images and for catching these epic moments for us!
