StoryCorps' mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world. All archived StoryCorps stories are housed at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., and many are shared through their online archives.
Our HIOBS Community Stories are moderated and then, once approved, they are shared within the HIOBS community platform on the StoryCorps website.
OPTION 1: SUBMIT YOUR STORY THROUGH THE STORYCORPS APP
Join our community and share your story using the CONNECT platform or the STORYCORPS APP on your phone. Your reflections and answers to questions will be stored along with other StoryCorps stories, and will be filed within our community. You can do this at any time.
We can send you our tips and tricks for how to make this happen (it's easier than you might think!)—simply complete the form below and let us know. It's possible to save a copy of this interview for your own records as well.
OPTION 2: HAVE A HIOBS STAFF PERSON INTERVIEW YOU
Another option is to have a HIOBS person interview you—either in-person, or through the CONNECT platform. If you prefer to go this route, we'll be in touch to let you know what the timeline and process is.
